Road Cycling & Triathalon

Road Cycling is the single most popular sport in the region in summer and it is easy to see why. Some of the most famous climbs from the Tour de France are here and many more to boot. Just about all ranges of ability are catered for.

Triathalon

Bourg St Maurice is one of the very few mountain resorts in France with a 50m pool making it ideal for triathletes. Add to that a great running track all the way to Aime halfway along which there is a swimming lake. Not forgetting a track in the woods complete with a free outdoor gym.

Italy is just over the Col de Petit St.Bernard so a daytrip over for lunch is a must!

Cyclo-Sportives

Cyclo-Sportives are timed competitions. They are very popular across France during the summer season and there are usually a few in Bourg over the season ask for more details.
